Welcome to Erie, one of six charming boutique cottages at Herons Nest Boutique Cottages, located near beautiful Paw Paw Lake in Southwest Michigan.

This cozy 1-bedroom, 1-bath cottage comfortably accommodates up to 5 guests and features vaulted ceilings, warm hickory hardwood floors, and a charming loft with a Twin XL platform bed. The living room includes a full-size sleeper sofa, making it perfect for couples, small families, or friends traveling together.

The fully equipped kitchen includes a refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwasher, cookware, dishes, and everything you need to prepare meals during your stay. The spacious bathroom features modern tile, a large vanity, and a walk-in shower.

Step outside onto your private deck, complete with a grill, and enjoy your morning coffee or evening dinner in a peaceful outdoor setting.

Guests of Herons Nest Boutique Cottages also have access to several shared outdoor amenities, including:

Lake Access

Paw Paw Lake is located just across the street from the property. While Herons Nest is not a lakefront property, guests can access the shoreline through a narrow public fire lane.

Please note that this access is not ideal for swimming, launching kayaks or paddleboards, or spending the day by the water, as there is no private beach, dock, or designated lounging area.

For the best lake experience, we recommend visiting Forest Beach Park or Sunset Park, both just a short drive away. These public access areas are great for swimming, launching kayaks or paddleboards, and enjoying everything Paw Paw Lake has to offer.

Whether you’re planning a romantic getaway, a family vacation, or a peaceful retreat, Erie offers a comfortable home base for exploring Southwest Michigan’s lakes, wineries, beaches, restaurants, and charming small towns.

Guest Verification

Important: Before your arrival, you will be asked to complete guest verification through our trusted third-party partner, Truvi. This process helps us comply with short-term rental regulations while providing added protection for both our guests and our property.

Truvi will contact you by email and/or text with simple instructions. We kindly ask that you complete the verification before your arrival to ensure a smooth and seamless check-in.

As part of the verification process, you’ll be able to choose between:

• A refundable security deposit, or
• A non-refundable damage waiver.
